LinkedIn Ads brings AI to Campaign Manager: what it means for your B2B campaigns

10 July 2026·3 min read

Since 1 July 2026, LinkedIn has added five AI tools to Campaign Manager: Brand Kit, Draft with AI, AI ad variants, Ads Personalization and Flexible Ad Creation. LinkedIn claims up to 20% higher CTR for advertisers running at least five variants of the same ad. Good news for B2B teams short on time, as long as they don't confuse volume of creatives with quality of testing.

1. Five AI tools to produce faster

Brand Kit centralises colours, fonts, logo, tone of voice and key messages, to keep AI-generated ads on brand. Draft with AI generates a first ad draft from a URL, campaign objectives and the context you provide. AI ad variants multiplies headlines and intro text from an existing ad, so you can test several angles without starting from a blank page. Ads Personalization tailors copy based on the job title, company or industry of the target profile, rolling out gradually. Flexible Ad Creation combines up to four visuals, five headlines and five descriptions to generate up to 64 versions, automatically shifting delivery toward the best performers.

2. Numbers worth a pinch of salt

LinkedIn claims over 20% higher CTR for campaigns using at least five variants, compared to a single ad. The platform also cites a 1.4% higher CTR on Website Conversion campaigns using Ads Personalization, and 2.4% more lead-gen clicks on Video Ads for SMBs. These figures come from an internal LinkedIn analysis, with no detail on sample size or industries covered. CTR remains an intermediate metric: cost per qualified opportunity and revenue generated matter more for a Belgian SME.

3. What this means for Belgian B2B SMEs

Many Belgian companies run their LinkedIn campaigns with a single person, with no dedicated design or copywriting team. These tools can genuinely save time on the first version of an ad. But Brand Kit is only as good as your existing LinkedIn presence: an irregular or generic content history will produce an equally unreliable identity, once formalised by AI. And multiplying variants without a clear hypothesis, promise, audience, proof or visual, teaches you nothing about what actually convinces a B2B decision-maker.

The AI lens, people first

AI can draft a first version, generate variants and flag the ones getting the most clicks. It runs that production and sorting work. But defining the promise, choosing the audience, and judging whether a click becomes a real sales opportunity stays a human call, grounded in knowledge of the Belgian market. Our stance: people first, AI in support.

This week

If you run LinkedIn Ads campaigns, test Draft with AI on a single offer with a precise brief, then compare at least two variants by isolating one variable, headline or visual. Judge the result on cost per qualified lead, not just CTR.
